Rebel Empire Workshops is a fledgling production company based in Jandakot, Western Australia. We currently focus on teaching stage combat and combat choreography, along with performance and characterisation techniques to enable people to perform compelling action and dramatic sequences on stage and screen.
We aim to provide a fun, safe environment for people of all backgrounds and interests to come and join our family and learn new and challenging skills. Our workshops and classes are led by strong professional instructors with significant experience in the areas of martial arts, film and television.
We specialise in live action and short video performance, using original character concepts, full stage production, with detailed costume and set design. Our major workshops include, Stage Combat, Basic Stunts, Martial Tricks, Hollywood and Zero-Point systems of fight choreography, Character Workshops, and a variety of Contemporary Performance Workshops.

Rebel Empire Workshops are located at:

- (A 10 to 15 minute casual walk from Cockburn Train station or a 30 minute drive from Perth City.)

We are open from 10am till 8pm Tuesday to Sunday and closed on Mondays except by prior arrangement.

Whether you are a complete beginner, a devoted fan, an accomplished thespian or experienced martial artist, there is something for everyone.
The best time to take a look is during our Beginners/Intermediate Classes:
- Tuesdays 5:30pm - 7:30pm or 8:00pm - 10:00pm
- Sundays 12:00pm - 4:00pm
We also teach Hand to Hand classes where you learn the basics of punching and kicking including how to use them in the real world application as well as in performance; leading on to our Hollywood and Zero-Point Fight Choreography. This is a great way to develop fitness and confidence! Our classes for Hand to Hand run:
- Thursdays 6:30pm - 8:00pm
If you are not the warrior type we have just started Social Dancing classes. While fun is our main motivation here, knowing how to lead and follow in fight choreography is very useful.
Our Dance classes run:
- Saturdays 11:30pm - 1:00pm
As an additional service, after you’ve finished working out you can take advantage of our in house massage clinic. We offer Sports Therapy Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Relaxation Massage. General massage prices are:
- $30 - 1/2 hour
- $45 - 45 minutes
- $60 - 1 hour
We also now have Gift Vouchers for those people who want to pamper someone else.

Detailed Membership Information
Annual Administration Fee:
- $35 = Full p/a
- $30 = concession p/a,
- • Covers all admin costs
- • All Joining Fees will be deducted every financial year which is 30th June.
- • If joining within a month of the closing financial year, this will be carried onto the next financial year.
- • Upon joining all paid members will be issued an exclusive membership card.
- • This membership card entitles you to access the facility, discounts where appropriate and access to Rebel Empire Workshops special events.
Annual Membership:
- $1 300 = Full
- $1 100 = concession
- • Annual Administration Fee included.
- • Entitlement to two free gradings in the form of vouchers. There is the option to hold vouchers on site.
- • Permission to book the main facility for private functions at a discount rate.
- • Permission to book available rooms within Rebel Empire Workshops.
- • Limited Edition member T-shirt with the year date and your chosen name embroidered on the T-shirt.
Half year Membership:
- $720 = Full
- $600 = concession
- • Annual Administration Fee not included.
- • Includes free grading worth $50
- • Permission to book the main facility for private functions at a discount rate.
- • Permission to book available rooms within Rebel Empire Workshops.
Monthly Membership:
- $120 = Full
- $100 = concession
- • Annual Administration Fee not included.
- • Monthly Fees will be taken out of the bank account or credit card of your choosing.
- • One month notice must be given prior to cancellation. No Cancellation Fees will be charged.
- • Includes the ability to attend all workshops within that month.
- • Permission to book the main Facility for private functions at a discount rate.
- • Permission to book available rooms within Rebel Empire Workshops.
Books of 10 Workshops $120 • Pre-paid book of 10 workshops • Allows you to attend any 10 workshops of your choosing. • Allows you to have one or more names on the pass • Good for group bookings • Annual Administration Fee is optional dependent on desire for ongoing membership. Day Pass $35.00 • Allows you to attend any workshops for that day. • Upon purchase a day voucher will be issued for the day of your choosing. Single Class $15 • Allows you to attend one workshop at anytime for that day. • $10 per extra workshop, capped at $35.00 total.
